My week with the color red This week I completed 4 small paintings. In the months prior to this week blues and greens dominated my work. But these 4 are all very much red, a color that tends to be my comfort color, namely cadmium reds. Red is a complex color, and means different things to different people. For me it comes across as passion and warmth.
