Loosening Up - Thanks to Nathan Oliveira

The past two weeks I have been practicing painting a looser style of applying paint to paper.  I feel this is the next step in my progression as an artist and it is proving to be a struggle.  When I find myself being stuck I look to Nathan Oliveira and his work, since his subject matter (solitary figures and faces) are akin to mine. His brave brush strokes are where I want to be...and will eventually get to.  In the meantime, back to practice.
